Hilde and I painted together plein air. She really grasped the idea of capturing the essence of the scene. I think these two paintings, although from memory are painted the way watercolor should be. Nothing fussy or overdone gets in the way here. Once again we see less is more works! So hard to do that especially on location. Information overload!!!
