Ella came up with a very cool combination of techniques. We we’re playing with plastic wrap in class and were amazed at all of the organic shapes we could make. Ella did this technique on a painting she had already masked with liquid frisket and it worked great! The thing that makes watercolor so interesting is the unpredictability and options that it has. It’s also cool to be able to use a variety of techniques in a single image. I really like the fact that she took some risks just to see what would happen. After all it’s just a piece of paper.
