I can’t paint this way. Loose, impressionistic, with innocence. Wish I could but isn’t that the cool thing about painting. Saiya is just starting her painting career and I hope she does not learn too many tricks and techniques and just expresses herself.
I have tried a few different styles but in the end always come back to what feels natural to me and visually what I feel works for the study I am working on, would love to be able to pain in a loose carefree style but the results are always coming back to my usual style in some way!
Hi John… Give yourself a time limit. 20 minutes is plenty of time to do a watercolor or work on two paintings at the same time and you won’t be tempted to keep trying to fix things.
