This was a fun little exercise to loosen up and get a little creative. We had a still life set-up that everyone liked but I decided to just take the elements and come up with a more designed image. The pattern in the upper left was taken from the pot that the flowers and leaves were in and everything was rearranged to suit the composition. For your next painting don’t render it literally but just use the objects as design elements and have fun. It’s just a piece of paper.

Thanks… It is that easy. The biggest cause for failure is trying to do too much. You have to learn how to surrender.
